Review of The Man From Snowy River II (1988) by Andy L — 30 Mar 2010
Return to Snowy River or, as it was known in Australia, The Man from Snowy River II is another fantastic film showcasing Australia's amazing outback and with a new fresh storyline to add to it's predecessor.
Great acting again from Tom Burlinson and Sigrid Thornton who lead this film and they are supported by another great cast.
In Spirit this film is just as good as it previous film but it struggles without the presence of Kirk Douglas and the cast change of Jessica's father is a little off-putting and annoying, seeing that they don't even try to get someone that looks like Kirk Douglas they just put a new guy in, that is pretty much the complete opposite. So for continuity reasons my rating went down.
Still a great film with awesome moments, probably the best Horse related films ever.
