I don't watch many Korean movies but have certainly been blown away by a handful. If I had seen this last year I probably would have named it the best movie of 2010. It was pretty much a perfect action film experience for me.
It earned a huge emotional investment very early in the film. The hero barely speaks but I found him fascinating. Loved the villains, the young costar, the pacing, the look of it all. Oldboy, Arahan, The City of Violence, this.
.. I desperately want to see movies like these all the time.
