Review of The Man from Earth (2007) by Navin P — 28 Apr 2009
This wasn't the best movie -- the acting wasn't all that great, the effects we've come to appreciate in movies were lacking, the budget was relatively low, but the storyline was VERY unique and made up for everything.
Most movies are so cookie-cutter and rely on cast, effects, music, actors, etc., to make it over the top. Sometimes, though, a single unique idea is enough to make a film unforgettable - this is one of thos times.
If you're into strange ideas and religions (or if you just ever wondered what finally became of The Greatest American Hero), pick up this film.
