Absolutely fascinating! Philosophically entertaining and educational. Minimalist scifi. The acting is kind of stiff at first, but quickly fades once the 'revelations' occur. The best line is from Dan, the anthropologist at the end of the movie: "I'm going home and watch Star Trek for a dose of sanity.
