Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Jon A — 23 Mar 2009
Not the biggest fan of film noir, but this was pretty solid. The twist at the end is satisfying enough, and it is a fairly complex story. Bogart is by far the highlight. Everyone else just kind of follows his lead.
The "action scenes" are a little ridiculous. Also, the cinematography is interesting at times. I'm sure even more so for when it was made.
