Review of The Majestic (2001) by Andre S — 26 Dec 2007
A beautiful feel good movie, with an amazing score. The beginning was really slow, and strait out of Leave-It-To-Beaver, but the movie really came together by the end. Laurie Holden was smoking, and Jim Carrey had a great speech at the end.
It felt kinda like The Truman Show: Have Carrey in the middle of a town that's got a beg secret he can't figure out. If you can buy into the story and the time frame, this movie will leave you feeling inspired and teary eyed.
