First off, wow! Jim Carrey can "Carrey" a role of a serious actor. Impressive. Secondly, the movie came out in 2001 and if I would have seen it seven years ago, I would pick it as movie of the year.
Definitely still deserves the title of "Feel good movie of the year." Does not really matter what year is spoken of.
