Review of The Maiden Heist (2009) by Daniel C — 30 Jan 2010
I had fun with this movie; there's nothing deep or meaningful about it, but the idea of Christopher Walken, Morgen Freeman, and William H Macy attempting to steal their favorite art works from the same museum they work at leads to some funny and "cute" moments (cute in this case refers to the fact that they're all old and try to attempt some stunts meant for younger people).
The lead into the story works perfectly too as we are quickly introduced to all the main characters one at a time and see just where the story is heading. It's simply a fun film that most likely go overlooked this year but I recommend adding it to your netflix queue.
