Review of The Magnificent Seven (2016) by Matt A — 08 Dec 2016
To watch this is very much like hard work. Just because there are some very dull and drawn out scenes that didn't really need to be there. For a 2 hour and 12 minute film at least 30 minutes could've been trimmed off.
Where this does succeed though is the cast, they are on fine form and the seven have a real sense of brotherhood. For its flaws in the pacing area the final 45 minutes of action more then makes up for it and the finale is a highlight and its not afraid to make bold decisions on who lives and who dies.
Worth a watch but not really worth buying.
