All of the typical Western genre tropes are efficiently ticked off one by one, but the whole is much lesser than the sum of its parts. Fuqua helms the whole thing with a reduced sense of humor and an amped body count.
Not so much a "Magnificent" Seven rather more like a slightly acceptable one.
