This remake is much better than many remakes made of other great movies to the past, credit to it. it can stand as a film for itself, also in a period in which western movies (with some exceptions like Django or The Hateful Eight) are no longer central in the Hollywood world, surely because the topics have been hugely exploited in the 50s, 60s and 70s.
