Review of The Magicians (2006) by Michael L — 26 Oct 2007
This is a done-before, by-the-numbers, mediocre British romcom that makes little use of the talents of its two stars. It's almost painful watching David Mitchell recite lines that should be coming out of Hugh Grant's mouth.
There are some genuinely funny moments though (my favourite: the Courtney Cox scene), but ultimately this is a missable movie.
