Review of The Magicians (2006) by Elliott C — 08 Jul 2008
Thankfully nowhere near as bad as I was expecting it to be. Made me smile, a few laughs, what more can you ask from a comedy? Mitchell and Webb doing pretty much what they do in Peep Show, which is never a bad thing, the top Jessica Stevenson (can't get used to this Hynes business!), and virtually every face from every recent british comedy make it a film you'll see, smile at, then forget all about.
