Review of The Magic of Belle Isle (2012) by Robin C — 23 Jun 2012

This is an awesomely peaceful move. There are no super heroes, ricocheting bullets, or sex lessons. There is the beautiful voice and acting of Morgan Freeman, complimented by Virginia Madsen with her trio of daughters.

And, there is Spot the dog. Every character is likable. Some people might think of it as pap, but I think of it as a breath of fresh air and a moment of peace from our daily lives.
