I really liked this movie! Made me want to research the subject and read more into it. Always a great quality in a movie!
A true drama about three girls who get sent to the 'Magdalene Laundries' or 'Magdalene Asylum' in Ireland. A catholic rehabilitation where parents sent their "shameful" daughters to "wash away their sins". Tragic, shocking, and heartbreaking. What these girls must have went through and how they had their whole lives taken from them is tragic, shocking, and heartbreaking.
