Review of The Madness of King George (1994) by Jeff B — 14 May 2008
Impressive and amusing film about, well, the madness of King George III. Nigel Hawthorne was pretty incredible in this, though I've still got Nobody's Fool to see, I'm thinking I would've chose Hawthorne for Best Actor.
Great costumes and sets and a good cast. I wish there was more "madness", but oh well, it's still a very entertaining film. And I wish Ian Holm and Helen Mirren were in it more.
