Wonderful Nigel Hawthorne screams loudly to show his importance as king, even though a mysterious illness drives him slowly insane. He was such a brilliant actor. The ultimate costume drama. Rest in peace Nigel.
Ian Holm is merciless as the king's new doctor. Lovely. See this movie!
