It may be a good movie for everyone loving mind-f***ing movies in an alternative dark setting. Personally I couldn't stand the sight of this emaciated Christian Bale in this depressing life, which spoiled the whole experience.
But certainly that's a matter of taste and in all honesty: Bale did offer an exceptional performance.
