Review of The Lunchbox (2013) by Meghna P — 19 Nov 2013
A hopeful romance of casual encounters between two lonely people due to lunchbox delivered in error. The lunch delivery errors continue between these two strangers as a ruse for their correspondence via handwritten letters which grows their relationship.
In a cultural society so traditionally steeped in gender roles, caste systems and familial obligations, this is a film that allows individuals a chance to dream for a more personally fulfilling relationship.
Oftentimes, "getting on the wrong train will lead one to the right station" in life.
