What if a woman made a very special lunch for her husband but it got delivered to the wrong man? A good scriptwriter could spin that question lots of ways: mystery, tragedy, brash comedy.... I love Ritesh Batra's answer to that question in "The Lunchbox.
" It's a quiet but thoroughly enjoyable film that stays with you. Wonderful cast, subtle moments. And after seeing it last night, my husband and I felt compelled to go out for Indian today for our lunch.
It was as delicious as the movie.
