Review of The Lucky One (2012) by Kelly I — 07 Oct 2012
I read the book this summer and it is about a day read. I didn't like the book but I thought the movie was sooooo much worse. Every cliche is in this movie which makes this movie incredibly cheesy and unwatchable.
There was no chemistry between the couple and when you say something like, "You should be kissed, every hour, every minute of every day."....You're in trouble. I do think Zac Efron can act but in this movie he barely moves his face from the pouting position.
The girl looks way to old for him and she has to have her overacting crying moment. Her ex husband comes straight out of the bad guy handbook. And I really don't understand what the drama is with the whole I-found-your-picture-in-Iraq-and-you-saved-my-life-thing-but-I-am-going-to-spend-90-minutes-waiting-to-tell-you-and-you-become-mad-at-me-anyways.
JUST TELL HER FOR THe LOVE OF PETE AND IF SHE GETS MAD SHE IS NOT WORTH BEING WITH!!!
