Review of The Lucky One (2012) by Jorge D — 07 Oct 2012
I haven't read this book, so I can't speak for the translation from novel to screen, though Nicholas Sparks films usually pale horribly in comparison to the books. But I can say that I really enjoyed this movie, despite all its shortcomings.
It follows the Sparks formula to a T and there are no surprises, but it's still heartwarming and uplifting almost to a fault.
