Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Sonja F — 07 Apr 2012
While I didn't think it was as bad as Mr. Ebert did, I do agree that this movie is creepy in its message, and unconvincing in several senses. I thought the acting was really good, Ronan is a magnificent talent especially at such a young age, Imperioli is very underrated, and Stanley Tucci is great.
In the end, the morals and visuals are confusing, and there isn't very much to like.
