Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Francisco L — 26 Jul 2015
Sincere life lessons surrounding shocking tragedies are definitely there, along with gripping suspense and a dedicated Mark Wahlberg performance, but Peter Jackson takes us on an overdosed trip around them with the vaguely directed "in-between" scenes that just don't seem to mix well with the rest, along with overexposed drama overall, to the point where it feels sour at the end.
