Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Tatsuhito K — 19 Sep 2016

This movie deals with the heart rending subject of child murder and loss and does it beautifully. The acting is superb, the graphics are a feast for the eyes and soul, and even the villain, while despicable, is played by the brilliant Stanley Tucchi and thus well played and intensely believe able.

saoirse Ronan positively shines as the star and tragic victim, immersing us in her lo nines, her sorrow, her thirst for vengeance, and also her joy as she accepts her fate.
