Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Antwan J. J — 20 Mar 2012
Very true to life in the age before missing persons on the back of milk cartons at first glance you wouldn't think that Susie Salmon a pretty 14 year old girl would end up dead too young too soon at the hands of a crafty, silent, obsessive, child killer who's deceptively smart and cunning until her father ( Mark WahlBerg) refuses to accept that his daughter's gets swept under the rug without getting some answers I liked the supernatural feel of the film and an excellent representation of what I thought was Limbo the world between worlds Overall I thought this was a pretty well done film and quite the story I really got into it due to the content of the film.
Kudos to the cast and Peter Jackson though I first glance I was surprised to learn he was he director of this film piece I tip my hat off to him.
