Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Thomas B — 20 Feb 2013
OK that was weird. I'm very ambivalent about this one. The cinematography is stunning. The villain easily one of the creepiest I've seen in a long time. Very emotionally laden and poetic in its language.
The story is ... interesting ... sort of ... and sort of not. It has many good elements but somehow it just didn't captivate me enough to justify 135 mins.
