There comes a time in any comedy where it's possible to go too far and try too hard. This is the case far too often in The Love Guru. Mike Myers, unfortunately seems to be stuck in a comedic rut where he uses the same jokes in movie after movie and just "tunes" them a little differently based on the script.

With numerous recognizable, if not big names in this movie, one has to wonder how much laughing gas was required to get them all to agree to this atrociousness.

While there were times that I found myself laughing, far too often I found myself sitting there wondering why they had to ruin a scene with some ridiculous commentary or alleged joke.

If you have a night home with the baby and you're looking to kill an hour and half, this sort-of does the trick. Other than that, don't waste your time with this one.
