Review of The Love Guru (2008) by Simon T — 03 Dec 2016
Ignore the critics: this is a hoot (for the most part). Every gag is blissfully awful and non-PC and Mike Myers is like a Hindu version of Austin Powers, trading in hilarious platitudes and triple entendres shamelessly.
Yes, it goes off the rails at times - and no, it's not The Greatest Laughterfest of All Time. But it's perfect popcorn with a few beers. And it features the best performance by Ben Kingsley since Schindler's List.
