Review of The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) by Nicola T — 15 Jan 2015
I rather like the first part of the movie, with the second island, new dinosaurs, more of the velociraptors and t-rex, and a reasonable cast.
However, moving the action to mainland America is where the film falls down. There are too many plot holes that stretch far beyond the suspension of disbelief and it's hard to take it seriously or to care. It probably doesn't help that it's not as good as its predecessor or that it's so loosely based on the Michael Crichton novel.
