Review of The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) by Zane F — 18 Jun 2015
Jeff Goldblum unites with Julianne Moore and Vince Vaughn (and a pointlessly added PC daughter of Goldblum) to venture to the abandoned dinosaur park. They are there to figure how to contain or kill the remaining dinosaurs (which have so far remained secret from the rest of the world).
The cgi is overused and of a quality which is a bit of a step down from the first film. The tone is considerably more dark than the first with a group of poachers also vying for the dinos. Overall, it manages to be both more ridiculous and more predictable than the first.
