Review of The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) by Noah M — 30 Jun 2018
The only reason this movie exists is because of Michael Crichton's novel (And $). That being said, there is nothing inherently wrong with the film. The special effects are arguably greater than the first movie's.
There are all new character arcs that develop, and each main actor has a chance to star. The movie is, of course (and I believe wrongly), judged on how it compared to the first. It may not be on par with the first, and there are places where it really drags on.
Obviously the first is way better, but that doesn't mean that this is a bad movie.
