Review of The Lost World (1960) by Philip P — 03 May 2008
I watched this because I thought the 1925 version was really well done - but 35 years of filmmaking and effects technology later, and we get this?!? Why not do stop motion animation and create a passable dinosaur? Instead, we're treated to an epic battle between a kimodo dragon with platelets pasted on it's back and an alligator with horns.
Ughhh. Although it did look like they were really attacking each other, which was interesting. It gets two stars because the acting wasn't bad.
