Review of The Lost Weekend (1945) by Jack W — 23 Mar 2009

I've said it before and I will say it again. NO ONE has the touch that Wilder had when it comes to films like this. As always, brilliantly written and the performance by Milland is really good. The ending is typically classical Hollywood and I would have liked that to be different but still a dark, depressing film on a scary subject.
