Review of The Lost Weekend (1945) by Jared H — 06 Sep 2009
A very dark movie, especially for its time. It explores the struggles of an alcoholic. Ray Milland's performance was good, but besides his alcoholism, there really isn't much else going on here.
It's a straight-forward storyline, with all the other characters being 1-dimensional, seeming to be there only to serve the plot of Milland's alcoholism.
