Review of The Lost Future (2010) by Charlie G — 06 Dec 2014
Do you remember the days of the "apocalyptic barbarian" adventure film? Kind of Mad Max meets Conan? This sub-genre probably only appealed to a specific audience. "Ator: The Flying Eagle" was the one I remember the most.
I was kinda hoping that this film would be a good entry in the genre with the intriguing Sean Bean as the lead. The film also includes emerging stars Corey Sevier and Sam Clafin.
The three leads do the best they can with a vacant script and limp direction that the film never emerges past mediocre. It's shame especially now 4 years later. (2 out of 5) So Says the Soothsayer.
