Review of The Lost Daughter (2021) by Crankyoldguy — 31 Dec 2021
As a father of five daughters…I know that being a parent is complicated. This film is brave in opening the discussion of what a “good mother,” really is. We are blessed with close relationships with almost all of our daughters.
The “almost” being the fluid part of working at it harder with one than the others. Gyllenhaal is going to have a long career as a director if this is her first attempt.
