Review of The Lost City of Z (2017) by James S — 01 Jul 2017
While not as good as it's literary source material, and a slight pacing problem that runs the film about 20 minutes too long, the film is an excellent biopic and adventure film. Both Charlie Hunnan and Robert Pattison turn in stellar performances, and the feel of a return to the adventure films of yesteryear make for a film well worth watching despite it's flaws.
