Review of The Lost City of Z (2017) by Lourdes G — 08 Aug 2017
They race many issues that go nowhere, just like the plot of the whole movie. Nothing interesting happens and Fawcett trying to speak in Spanish with the natives was as comical as seeing Mr. Bean saying "Gracias" in France.
The wife wanting to go but couldn't because she is a woman, the cannibalism, the father being away from his family for so long, Costin's "alcoholism", all of those issues go nowhere.
The length of the movie is brutal, they hack jacked you with the hope that something might happens but it doesn't.
