Review of The Lost City of Z (2017) by Carol B — 26 Apr 2017
It's rare that I agree so wholeheartedly with the majority of pro critics but this film really is something special. A visual feast, engrossing story (adapted beautifully from the book), and some surprisingly terrific acting performances (from Miller and Pattinson, particularly but everyone does a great job).
Go see this movie and send a message that there is still demand for films that don't rely on CGI to be satisfying.
