Review of The Lost City of Z (2017) by Charlie D — 14 Aug 2017
It really breaks the conformity of the action/adventure genre as it never becomes quite as exciting as a film like Indiana jones but instead using a more steadfast approach. It engulfs you in the same beauty that Percy himself see's in the jungle and has many more strong thematic elements than most others.
Charlie Hunnam's character is indubiously strong and well-rounded as if he's very easy going but always has his goal in mind. It's less speedy stride did wonders for it yet I just hope it's enough to stick around in my mind.
