Good grief... I went into this expecting a more serious, true to life adventure film, but I had to give up after 1 hour and discovering I wasn't even halfway through. It's just so... boooooooooooring.
The characters felt off to me - they all give expository dialogue at uncalled times or say one-liners that are meant for the audience. The photography feels very claustrophobic and seems to focus on things that I, as a viewer, do not want to linger on. This may be a deliberate choice by the director, but it lost me.
