Review of The Lost City of Z (2017) by Kevin S — 10 Jul 2017

I thought this movie was great. Before I say anything else, I see many people complaining that nothing happened. The whole point of the movie is to show how this man devoted his whole life to finding something he believed in and it eventually led to his demise(or at least we believe that).

I may be biased as I am a Charlie fan and thought he was a great lead role. I enjoyed the movie and although it was slow at times, it had me engaged almost the whole movie and made me want to research more about Percy Fawcett. It really makes you wonder as to what happened to him as no evidence has been found. I recommend this movie but only if you don't go in expecting action scenes. It is almost more like a documentary where you are just along for the ride and explanation of what went down.
