Review of The Lost Boys (1987) by Jim S — 24 Jun 2014
This is one of my favorite vampire films. I just re-watched it recently after not having seen it for many years. I used to listen to the sound track on cassette in my car all the time and I got to know the music pretty well.
While this film doesn't really hold up to the level of horror that's portrayed in modern day vampire stories such as "True Blood", it's still pretty good. It has moments of humour and it's sexy and it has a great cast.
Like most Joel Schumacher films, it's campy at times, but it's not that scary. Actually it's kind of fun.
