A wonderful piece of 80s cheese, an action-horror movie with glam rock and a power ballad playing through the credits. I'm amazed at how this movie manages to be simultaneously suspenseful and ridiculous, how it's both a comedy and a horror film - how did they do that? The all-star cast really isn't put to such good use, and Feldman's acting is completely over-the-top, as is the entire movie, really.
It would all be so much worse if I had the impression that the flick took itself seriously, but I don't think it does - it's goofy, but they seem to know that, and to play it up, right up to the border line between farce and cheese.
