Before I start my review for the 1987 horror comedy the lost boys I am going to present a horror film timeline from 1980-1989.

Now on to the review of the horror comedy film the lost boys which tells the wholesome story of two brothers and their mom who move to santa carla,califrornia from phoenix,arizona which the brothers discover that the murder capitial of the world is infested with vampire punks which then the brother is in the comic book store which edgar and his brother alan frog which are vampire hunters in disguise which they decide to hunt down the vampires which the vampires try to kill them but then they discover more incidents which during the beginning people go supposedllly missing but they were actually murdered by the punks the lost boys is a great horror film highly recommended for any horror fan a great horror film hidden gem when the film had opened on july 31st 1987 the film had opened at #2 because of the 007 action film the living daylights highly recommended a great horror comedy and a great cult classic.
