Review of The Lost Boys (1987) by Cody H — 11 Jan 2012
An okay film, but nothing too special. As a comedy it failed to make me laugh, as a horror film it failed to frighten. The idea is decent, and I loved the idea of fighting vampires with holy water in a squirt gun, but as a whole it failed to impress.
Definitely a lot better than much of the newer vampire stuff today, though one can see how this may, in some ways, served as an unfortunate precursor to them.
