Review of The Lost Boys (1987) by Ian F — 12 Apr 2012

So I saw this on a whim and its really a long story but if I'm ever asked for a film that sums up the 80s (there are many but...) this would be my reply! It's screaming 80s in its aesthetics, look, feel, story, even sound! I also have to remember that Dianne Wiest had already won an Oscar, but in a way, that makes it worse.

But that isn't to say this is bad, just... 80s!
