What can I say, this movie changed the way that vampires were portrayed in movies, back in the 80's vampires used to be old men with old fashion clothes, then this movie appear and suddenly vampires were cool people, renegades if you will; in this case the vampires are teenagers a gang if you want.
Without this movie it would be impossible to imagine movies like "Twilight" but "The Lost boys" this is a classic, this movie is maybe one of the greatest vampires movies ever made.
Kiefer Sutherland as the leader of the vampires gang is maybe one of the greatest vampires in the history of the movies; the story is great, the characters are great; the movie is a combination between a comedy and a horror movie and it works really well.
The first and the best movie about young vampires. This one was the first movie that portrayed vampires as something really cool. "Sleep all day, party all night; It's fun to be a vampire".
