More so-called drama than action. Some really nice choreographed martial arts here. Highlight of the movie is the fight in the alleyway - amazing how kungfu moves can be executed in such a tight space.
Too bad the story & drama is much ado about nothing. With all the intriguing stories from Romance of the 3 Kingdoms, why did they settle on this non-event? It would have been so much more mesmerizing a movie if they have focused on a more pivotal event in the epic history.
Take a leaf from Red Cliff, guys - now that's an exciting story + awesome action.
